Food wars is definitely the kind of show you should watch if you’re into food porn. Do note that the food animation style is a little on the basic end. However, in spite of that, you will find yourself drooling each time the chefs prepare new food.
Another reason why foodies should watch this show is because all the recipes that they show are real. They are tested by a Japanese chef called Yuki Morisaki before the writers add them to the script. So, if you love experimenting with cooking, then you can do so while watching this show!
What can you expect from the Series?
To be fair, even though the food aspect of the first two seasons was really good, the show was still criticized for the cliched plot. And, don’t get us started on the bizarre fan service! The good news is that the show creators took the feedback into account. So, you can expect some character development starting season 3.
The addition of the Elite 10 definitely makes the show much better. The characters are talented and charming. The storyline also ceases to be repetitive. Season 3 also explores the business end of cooking, which makes it even more interesting. On the whole. Food Wars stops being one dimensional after season 2.
In case you’ve started getting bored with the show, we suggest that you persist and watch Food Wars Season 3. Even though there is no official food wars season 3 dub release date, you can still enjoy the show via subtitles. So, it’s not like you won’t understand anything that’s going on.
As a personal preference, I think anime is far more enjoyable with subs rather than dubs. Yes, I’m team subs all the way!
