Crysis 3 - Review & Download

Master the Seven Wonders. The evil C.E.L.L. corporation turned New York City into a sprawling urban rainforest housed in a giant nanodome. Devise new tactics to fight your way through seven distinct landscapes and confront the enemies hiding within.

Choose your arsenal. This fight requires the best weapons available. You’ll have an arsenal stocked with Earth’s finest military tools, like the Predator Bow. Use it to unleash a Super-thermite arrow and counter heavy artillery fire. Facing a group of opponents walking through water? Fire just one Electro arrow and defeat them all at once. .

Assess, adapt, attack. Choose your path and approach. Fight with guns blazing and make the most of your Nanosuit’s superior technology. Or opt for stealth and use the Nanosuit to become the silent savior the world has been waiting for.

Crysis 3 – Steam Review

Just glad Crysis 3 is now available on Steam, however, what I’m disappointed was that it requires EA online activation and Origin client software installation which really baffles me… A single player game shouldn’t need a DRM at all! But if you’re an old-time Crysis fan, I recommend this game.

Never thought I’d see the day where I could finish my Crysis collection on Steam! At an entry discount of 67% off, this is an absolute bargain too. Crysis 3 along with the second game may forever live in the original’s shadow but this will remain a very underrated title and another phenomenal technical achievement from the CryEngine.

The game follows on immediately from the events of Crysis 2 and everything from mechanics to the weapon selection feels familiar as does the gameplay. The visuals on the other hand are a monumental leap and considering this is a game from 2013, they still look utterly incredible. It is staggering at times. The atmosphere and environmental effects really add to the experience also.

Crysis teaches you compassion for others and self-appreciation because your elderly tour guide was once a war hero who is now, unfortunately, suffering from whiny episodic withdrawals. See – he longs for the days of his University mascot costume (Go Raptors!) because it allowed him the pleasure to go maximum commando underneath without drawing much ire from the public. Ah, the freedom of the willy dongle. Sadly, this did not last as he was caught and charged with two counts of indecent exposure after a drunken night at the local Lingshan Bingo Hall. They “skinned” him, as he mutters during literally every cutscene, and proceeds to cry for 45 minutes.

In terms of the story, I think it’s pretty intriguing once more and the characters are likeable and interesting. The combat does lack a bit of punch and stealth is OP once again but on the whole, this is a superb FPS. Origin is a requirement sadly so you will need to link an existing account or create one to access the game. Still a must buy!
