HBO has released footage of Game of Thrones season 8 episode 2. In that footage, we can see Jaime Lannister arriving at Winterfell by horse and he was perplexed to see Bran stark sitting in his wheelchair waiting for him.
In the 1st episode, we see Bran saying to Sam that he was waiting for some friend. We can safely assume that the friend in reference was Jaime Lannister. Bran and Jaime’s relationship goes back to the very 1st episode of Season 1 of Game of Thrones where Jaime pushes Bran out of the window of the tower. We can say that this particular scene has changed the entire course of Game of Thrones plot. And we can’t wait to see their conversation in episode 2.
Watch the trailer here:
We also see Daenerys speaking to Jaime Lannister in front of the whole council and accusing him of his father’s murder. And how her brothers and she used to talk about what they are going to do to their father’s murderer.
In the trailer we can also see everyone gearing up for the war against white walkers. Tormund reaches winterfell and warns the Jon that the night king is just a sunshine away. We see everyone with a sad, terrified face including Jorah, Daenerys, tyrion, Sansa etc. Arya can be seen practicing with a bow and arrow and her famous dialogue from the trailer “Death has many faces and I would like to see this one” is also featured in the trailer.
Overall it looks like a pretty intense trailer and the night king is going to arrive at Winterfell in the 3rd episode with the army of the dead.
