Mysterious place in the Stranger things : The Hawkins

Stranger things are afoot in Hawkins,indiana, where a young boy’s sudden disappearance unearths a young girl with otherworldly powers

Hawkins National Laboratory is the most mysterious place in stranger things.Hawkins National Laboratory run by the ‘Department of Energy’ as seen in Stranger Things.

It is a military-scientific place, posing as an office building and medical practice,and as such, has a full exterior and interior of all floors including an underground section, where Eleven was orginally housed.The underground section is full of mysterious things were major experiments are conducted.

For the outsider its just a lab, when we reach the underground section we can saw many creatures that from the dark world,in the finale of the 2nd season the lab is completely destroyed by the creatures from the upside down

In the mid 20th century,the lab was host to MKUltra Experiments, and at some point began abducting children to experiment on as well.During on experiment,a child test subject named Eleven made contact with the Demogorgon,accidentally opening the Gate to the Upside Down.For a year alien biologically growth,stemming from the dimension consumed the lower levels of the lab.Despite the lab’s attempts at containing the growth, the Gate was able to grow to a gargantum size with series of tunnels extending from it beneath Hawkins.
