When two children disappear in a small German town, their sinful past is exposed as well as the double lives and broken relationships that exist between four families while they are looking for children. The dramatic mystery series introduces a complex puzzle filled with twists and turns that includes a network of curious characters, all of whom have a connection to the troubled history of the city – whether they know it or not. The story includes supernatural elements that relate to the same city in 1986. “Dark” represents the first German original series produced for Netflix.
