With Endgame being released soon, there are many speculations about the characters that will survive and the characters that will die. There have been rumours floating around that only 2 of the original Avengers line-up will live at the end of the film. Though there are multiple theories on who will die, and each theory ranges from fan to fan, we think that one of the people who will definitely die is Captain America. Think about it. Of all the Avengers, his arc seems to be complete. He has grown into a hero, has lost everyone he loves, and perhaps will die because of all of this.
These rumours were fuelled by a cryptic tweet that Chris Evans put out just hours about filming his last scene. “Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was an emotional day to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.”
It really sounds like a goodbye tweet, doesn’t it? The fact that he said it has been an honour to play this role for 8 years, it feels like he is done. There’s also the fact that Chris Evan’s contract is going to finish after this movie and there is no clarity on whether it will be renewed afterwards or not. There is also the possibility that each phase of the Avengers will bring different characters to the table, or even reboots of older characters so that Marvel can continue to release films about them and make money. Considering that RDJ and Chris Evans both have their contracts expiring, this seems like the perfect opportunity for Marvel to have a reboot for phase 2. What do you guys think?
