Bellamy has betrayed his family and friends in the last season which really pissed hardcore fans off. Adding some of the comments and feedback by some fans below.

It’s a reach but if we give Bellamy the benefit of the doubt, I can only think of 1 reason why he betrayed them-
***NOT saying there’s a master plan- just saying he wanted them together, planning what’s next, rather than apart.***
Do you think he realised that Clarke was planning to secure all of them by sending them home and he knew she would be killed if she were left alone when she got exposed for not having the Flame, and just tried to save her by keeping the group together and not leaving her to save herself alone? This was Octavia’s concern too right before the scene happened, might be connected. With the group together, they have a better chance of everyone escaping alive by plotting instead of leaving Clarke to deal with the whole mess left behind.

It’s just a thought, for giving him room for intelligence .

He easily bent and followed Pike, helped slaughter 300 people and has turned his back on his sister instead of trying to understand that she’s been shoved through the mud, too. He’s weak in the show.

I think it’s all a sim for bell. I mean come on common sence tells us he wouldve lost his memory coming back from etherea… he nor doucette were wearing helmets, and as levitt said when u cross a bridge without the suit it causes you to lose your memory… and bonus…. look up the meaning for the name doucette 😉

He has become a sheep and followed the Shepard but if we go into the episode then he clearly states that he does not believe there final goal is different to what they believe.
Therefor. He has a master plan but believes it has to come from someone they trust. That’s what he’s doing gaining trust but to ultimately ducked them over because the end goal, in his eyes, is different but needs all in the same page. Easy hahaha 😂🤣
