The Witcher is an American serial drama series created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich. The TV Series is based on the set of books which goes by the same name written by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski.
Based on the book series of the same name, the series covers the story of Geralt Of Rivia, a monster hunter who struggles to make his place in a world which happens to be more evil than a world full of monsters. The first season had eight episodes and was shot in Europe. The Netflix series sees Henry Cavill playing the central role of Geralt of Rivia with Freya Allan and Anya Chalotra playing the role of Princess Ciri and Yennefer of Vengerberg, respectively.
The story mainly focuses on Geralt, Cirilla and Yennefer as they work together in navigating across the entire continent. The series shows a plethora of action happening around Geralt aka Henry Cavill and trust us when we say this that you’ll never be able to predict what’ll happen in the next scene. The Witcher is for sure something which should definitely be on your watchlist if you’re someone who truly enjoyed watching Game of Thrones.
