The best feature of the Need for Speed Heat is it’s Day & Night Mode. Need for Speed Heat: During the day you can earn dollars, but reputation can be earned only at night. You can decide which mode to play in while leaving the garage! Even if you are out of the garage, you can switch from day mode to night mode, but the reverse can’t happen so that you don’t try to lose cops by switching modes! Also, a point to remember is that you can’t enter a garage during a cop chase. I did plenty of escapes in NFS Rivals using this error! Another pro is the freedom you get to tune your vehicle. You can modify the engine using factors like crankshaft, ECU, Cooling, Exhaust, turbo, and Nitrous system, but all it will do is increase the power. The real game is in modifying the chassis. You get to change suspension, brakes, and tires according to your requirement, be it drift, Off-road, Race, or Road, you get to fine-tune your car to be the best!
As you keep gaining rep at night, new parts and cars keep on unlocking, and if money isn’t an issue, then boy, what a collection of cars they have! Here is a glimpse of the top models! The two shortcomings I observed in the game are;
- The first is a lack of police mode. I wanna play a cop and crash those racers sometimes!
- The second is the limited soundtracks in the game
