With the Halloween season right around the corner, Netflix has some really spooky stuff lined up for you guys. Be it a hardcore horror movie or a horror flick that is more on the lines of comedy, the biggest OTT platform in the world has it all, this October. Here’s everything you need to know about all the new web series on Netflix!
The Most-awaited new web series on Netflix:
The Haunting of Bly Manor (Oct 9) is a ghost story set in the 1980s on English soil. It is the anthropological sequel to “The Haunting Hill House” and is created by Mike Flanagan. Given the success of the previous series, this new web series on Netflix should be a great bet for everyone out there who wants to enjoy a scary night with their pals.
Adam Sandler is back at his usual best in the horror comedy Hubie Halloween (Oct 7). He saves the neighbourhood from monsters but obviously with a roll of comedic scenes and Sandler’s typical one-liners, spread across the length of the movie.
Well, let’s not forget that it is also the Hispanic Heritage Month, when people celebrate their ethnic backgrounds and host multiple family get-togethers. Nice time to Netflix and chill, eh? To meet the demands of this section of the audience, there are new web series on Netflix, like Carmen San Diego and Vampires vs. the Bronx, both of which have a strong Hispanic background.
For all the classic movie lovers out there, Rebecca (Oct 21) should intrigue you, as it is an adaptation of the timeless gothic novel by Dame Daphne du Maurier. Being Netflix’s very own baby, this should not disappoint you one bit.
Who can forget Schitt’s Creek literally sweeping all the awards at Emmy’s this year and creating a record for most wins in a single year by a comedy? The sixth and final season will drop on October 7 on Netflix. Find out for yourself what’s all the buzz about! Furthermore, David Letterman is back with a new lineup of guests in his interview series My Next Guest needs no Introduction, and it will be aired on October 21.
