Ever Since after the first episodes, Money heist becomes one of the tea talks among the audience. Creators make all the characters name something fishy to keep guessing the audience and allow them to think something controversy.
First episode Professor (played by Álvaro Morte) assigned city names to all the members in his team. They are not allowed to reveal their identities. In later episodes, all the characters adopt that as their name and move with the shows.
As viewers of the show will know, the Professor’s real name is Sergio Marquina.
His brother Berlin (Pedro Alonso) is revealed to audiences to be called Andrés de Fonollosa.
Rio (Miguel Herrán) and Tokyo (Úrsula Corberó) are called Aníbal Cortés and Selene Oliveira, respectively, after they told each other their real names. Agustin Ramos, which is what Moscow (Paco Tous) is actually called.
Denver (Jaime Lorente) is Daniel Ramos, Olso (Roberto Garcia) is Dimitri Mostovói, Helsinki (Darko Peric) is Yashin Dasáyev and Nairobi (Alba Flores) is Ágata Jiménz
cop Raquel Murillo (Itziar Ituño) who became Lisbon and former hostage Monica Monica Gaztambide (Esther Acebo) who became Stockholm.
Another introduced to the series was Palermo (Rodrigo De la Serna) who in flashbacks was revealed to be Martín Berrote.
Then finally in season four, Manila (Belén Cuesta) was introduced as another heist member after she was revealed to be Moscow’s goddaughter Julia.
